Our Kampong Saom Sunset design is a love letter to Cambodia’s most iconic stretch of coastline — a place where time slows, the sea glows, and every evening feels like a postcard. Inspired by the minimalist elegance of vintage travel posters, this illustration captures the soul of Sihanoukville’s original name: Kampong Saom, the “Port of the Moon.”

As the warm golds fade into rosy pinks and soft purples, the sweeping gradient mirrors the sunsets that wash over Otres Beach each evening. On the left, gently bending palms lean toward the shoreline as if drawn by the same breeze that carries fishermen home. Their clean line-art silhouettes echo old beachwear graphics — nostalgic but crisp, modern, and effortlessly relaxed.

The two small islands on the horizon represent Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem, their dark shapes resting quietly along Cambodia’s southern coastline, a region known for its calm waters and unforgettable sunsets. A lone fishing boat, anchored in the shallows, hints at the timeless rhythm of coastal life — where mornings begin with the tide and sunsets end with stories.
