“May Kla Cloak” is inspired by the joyful chaos and unforgettable memories of my childhood during Khmer New Year. Growing up Cambodian meant hearing laughter from both adults and kids gathered around the Kla Cloak table, the sound of dice shaking in a bowl, and the excitement of playing late into the night with family and close friends.
This design reimagines those moments through a modern streetwear lens—blending nostalgia, Khmer culture, and playful competition into a bold statement piece. “May,” meaning “leader” in Khmer, represents confidence, luck, and the energy of owning the table.
