More than a thousand years ago, the KHMER Empire stood among the greatest civilizations on Earth.

From 802 to the 15th century, The KHMER Empire influence mainland Southeast Asia, stretching across territories that are now Cambodia, Laos, and southern Vietnam. At its height, ANGKOR was one of the world's largest and most sophisticated cities, an engineering masterpiece built centuries before many modern capitals.

At the center of this design is KING SURYAVARMAN II, the visionary ruler who commissioned ANGKOR Wat, the largest religious monument ever built. Nearly 900 years later, it remains OUR greatest symbol and one of humanity's greatest architectural achievements.

Within the outline of modern day Cambodia stands QUEEN INDRADEVI, one of the most respected women of the ANGKORIAN era. Celebrated for her wisdom, scholarship, and support of education and the arts, she reminds us that The KHMER Empire was strengthened not only by KHMER KINGS and KHMER WARRIORS, but also by remarkable KHMER WOMEN whose leadership helped shape OUR KHMER cultural legacy.

OUR KHMER civilization left a lasting mark on Southeast Asia. Monumental temples, intricate bas reliefs, and artistic traditions continue to inspire millions and remain among the world's greatest cultural treasures.
